the artist
A machine like thing, made of metal, some of it shiny like chrome
or mercury, some of it gun-metal blue or tarnished. It is large,
powerful, and only capable of simple funtions. It is however humanoid
in shape, with fluid motions, and completes tasks at high speed.
the art
Dangerous (not controversial, literally DANGEROUS) Large, high
weight, the artists sometimes utilizes flame and water in the same
piece. The works are like kits, there are defined forms for function
(like an erector set, but larger) The pieces CANNOT be built, handled,
moved, and in some cases VIEWED by humans without special tools or
protection. Most of the pieces require entire rooms or open spaces to
be displayed. Impacts, and jerking motions send the rest of the
pieces into a blurr of whirling metal, stone, flame, water, and sound.
the beret
The beret is not a classic "beret" but is integrated in the "head"
or the artist. Appearing like a tiled yamaka(spelled wrong I'm sure)
it is ingraved about 1/4 inch into the upper hemisphere of the head.
From the top it looks like concentric circles of tiles, not a spiral.
The "tiles" do not move, but each one is ingraved with a small
representation of one of the artists pieces.
