claireart
the artist
She makes art out of everything even living. The head goes constantly
creating something out of nothing all day long and draggged along by
desire, excitement. tree-dances outside her window music makes them
better. she's a musician, movement in nature means that landscapes
have to move..i.e. be abstract and yet decernable as trees and water
and mountains and above all light.
she doesn't wear hats but a long dark pigtail -- which sometimes
driops into the paint or flops across her guitar.
Shes older now, but that just intensifies the spiritual involvement in
live and it's translation into paintings, clay, or music or poetry.
According to one sh'es "a creative explosion" yes indeed --
all over the place
the art
Art as traditionally implied is in all graphic media, currently an
interest in Macintosh computer generated art...which leads to a
question. How to send images over the internet.
Previously raised on classic piano --brouse the music world, any world
and improvise. Taught folk guitar for 9 years, not playing so much
now (arthritisWrite when there's something to say and enjoy it, but
not for its own sake..believe there should be a reason to sound off.
As to nature --beautiful just the way she is. I paint/write/feel
about her that she's something to be experienced and enjoyed, so the
art is ABOUT rather than OF.
the beret
the artist loves hats on other people but refuses to be defined by
any single one and can't keep even a virtual hat on. there for a
"no-hat" hair is enough thankyou going from pigtail to knot to
slopping in the eyes.
I laove this -- so open, so stimulating. I just feel frustrated about
my technical limitations. I'd like to be able to send my images
around the world and am willing to submit them if someone can tell me
how. I have a Mac 7100, one of the first power macs with 40 ram and
2.1 gigs harddrive. My server info is probably included here
somewhere but it's in California at Telis, a subsidiary of MCI. I
haven't figured out how to send an attachment yet, but my rasterized
images can be saved in JPeg if that helps. This is great I hope it
works out.
Regards
claire
