When she writes, she writes in the middle of
the night, when she's most sane... and less
distracted. She's a dreamer. And wishes upon
her favourite star every night.

UTOPIAN
I found myself walking
On the glittering sands
Of my myriad web of dreams
Soon finding myself stopping
To overlook
The sparkling waters...
And thinking about the Utopian in me.
The sparkling ocean
Reflecting the full moon and stars
A vision of perfectness
Created in my lucid mind
A quiet jubilation fills me.
Closing my eyes,
Capturing the moment...
For me to marvel eternally.
Still closing my eyes
I feel a thousand things
I listen to the waves
Telling me a story about
The mysteries of the Blue
The salty sea breeze
Gently kissing my skin
Like it was making love
To my soul
And the sand beneath me
Are like stardust
A gift from the stars themselves.
The vision was hypnotic
And I was charmed infinitely
As I inhaled the night
I was infused together with my Dream
I was becoming One with Utopia.
I felt the air around moving
Like a gentle nudge
And I was slowly led into the cool waters
The Ocean greeted me
By teasing a tingling sensation upon my skin
My soul was drugged
By the sensual caress of the water
As I immersed myself
I felt lost in perfect tranquillity
The sea was like another body
Cuddling me in its bosom
Soothing and purifying me
With it's pacifying embrace
As I swam further
Little bubbles tickle my skin
My heart giggles in absolute delight
The ocean sounds fill my ears
Serenading me with its mystical orchestra
The intimacy was exhilarating
The experience euphoric.
I saw the first light of dawn
My Utopian fantasy's finale
The sun rising on the horizon
A spectacular sight
The miracle of the beginning
A dazzling rhapsody
Opening my eyes
I felt my heart smile
The rustling trees applause
And I know
The Utopian in me
Will never die.

the beret
It is quite IMPOSSIBLE to wear one. It's
simply too hot here!!...BUT I do have one...
and it is black, made of 100% wool and
manufactured in United Kingdom.
