The artist does tattoos, and spend her days making permanent change in the exteriors of people whose interiors are in metamorphosis. She makes an art that is as old as time, as simple as the atavistic yearning to connect to symbol and meaning, yet projects forward with each recipient as the beginning of their next, integrated, illustrated form. They begin as blanks, they leave her touch as art. She wears scarves wrapped around her head, because a hotter head is a smarter head and she contains her brain beneath the veiling so as to rise to the challenge of her calling. An unlimited budget comes as freely given reward, for the intimate transformations that are fashioned from her talent and stamina.
