the beret

My "beret", if you will, is the traditional headgear of the farmer- artist--the feed cap, of course. As you can see from my resume, my cap got a runner-up award in the DeKalb Co. Design-a-Feed-Cap Contest. It features a large, abundant three-dimensional ear of corn with a good head of silk and horns. Why the horns, you may ask? The answer is conveniently provided on the bill of the cap (and just happens to be my Official Slogan): "The horns are what make it *art*!". Extra kernels of corn are also scattered, willy-nilly, around the brim.
