David O. Aris
the artist
We'll call David O. Aris. He is a homicidal artist. He
considers that man is the greatest piece of art ever created, and to
remake a human into a piece of art work of his own design is the
highest of accomplishments.
the art
It depends on what mood he is in. It could be sculpture, abstract
expressionism, or even finger painting in human fluids. When picking a
subject/victim he takes someone who by society's standards is beautiful
and then changes them into what the art world considers beautiful (or
would consider beautiful if they hadn't been disgusted by the medium).
the beret
He is bald, so he almost always wears a beret when he is out of his
studio looking for a subject. It is a reddish-brown, ratty, beaten, up
thing. Given to him before his first show by his fiance. The night
before vandals came in and ruined his pieces of work. During the show
when they were unvieled people saw the vandalism done and laughed. The
stress of the show, the shock of the vandalism, and the fact everybody
even his fiance was laughing mad him snap. That day he created his first
homicidal artpiece, "An Orgy of Laughter and Blood". His cap is special
to him because when he got it, it was white, but since then he has dipped
it in the blood of every new subject he gets.
