miss tree
the artist
small. generally soft. a pale pinkish color.
the art
known mostly for making Big Things too heavy to carry anywhere,
and then taking them places. when she gets bored of her Big Things,
she puts them under her bed. usually they don't quite fit. the
resulting struggle, were anyone to see it, would be performance
art. if a performance piece happens in an audience-less space, is it
art? miss tree does not worry. she has all of her Big Things, except
for one of them. this one was thought to be performing art alone in
the woods outside of fredonia, n.y. however, a group of errant buffalo
bills (foootball players) came and took it apart for her. this Big
Thing was thus too small to be carried anywhere.
the beret
miss tree is often thought to be wearing a beret, but up close she
never is. this is attributed to the odd shape of her head.
