White Crystal

the artist

A she.

Her name is White Crystal. A senstim artist, linked with the Black Delights arm of the United Senstim Corporation that exists in the Redmond Barrows of 2052. She is a body artist, fit, beautiful in balance, and since her *mind* is never captured in the tapes she can be as mad as she likes.

Her hair is white, her eyes are white, and her skin pale as new fallen snow.

the art

Her speciality is creating full-body *recordings* of her deaths. her unlimited virtual budget is spent on the medtech of her time, which enables her ressurections. She has the forever-living that most people of her time only dream of; but she throws it away... only to have it come back.

She is actually rather careful to only die in ways that are fairly recoverable in her time. Things like electrocution and heart stoppage. Quick deaths with little brain or systemic damage. She does private 'viewings' as well for small groups that pay millions to find out what it is like to die.

She also works with a team that she calls her Angels, made up entirely of people who have died, sometimes painfully, for her. They are all special in their own right but are not recorded the way she is recorded, so there is no safety/binding net for them. She treasures and values them all the more for that. Each has their own color.

All her experiences are recorded, as her body is built to record every sensation that happens to her. So, the one or two times that she does die irrecoverably, a clone is made of her body, and all her experiences are played to it in compressed time and what comes out is as much like her as anyone ever was.

the beret

A beret knit from senstim tape, which is like a CD medium, silver and reflective and sometimes prisms into all the colors there are. Her only human attribute left is the one common denominator to all life... death. White as death. She was shaped by senstim and senstim shaped all that she is. Really, she is nothing more than a recording, anymore...
