the artist
He has been given the honor/responsibility of designing a
memorial/statue on Mars that will serve as a "welcome mat" (simliar to
the Statue of Liberty) for all future colonists. Just as the Statue of
Liberty served as a sign of "openess" for immagrants, the Mar's statue
will symbolize evolutionary success but in reality Mar's is only a
temporary remedy for human's propensity to overpopulate.

His beret would be very banal except for its remarkable radiant redness.
